Well, we are finally here!
The Common Threads Quilt Shoppe officially opened its doors on December 10, 2009. This is the culmination of a dream, which has been patiently waiting in the dark recesses of my heart for many years. Finally, the time was right for me to jump into the water and bring my dreams into reality.
My purpose is to preserve the art and tradition of quilting for new generations. There is a rich heritage of quilting which is a part of every culture...a Common Thread which unites us all.
I have tried to create a space that is welcoming and comfortable, where folks can gather to share coffee, ideas, and the love of quilting. I hope you will stop by soon to share a cup with me.
